Team leader job
Under the supervision of the Manager and / or the assistant manager, the team leader is responsible for ensuring the proper operation of the restaurant, maintaining the already established working procedures and upholding a positive working environment in the absence of his superiors.
Team leader main responsibilities
- Responsible for welcoming, integrating, and training new employees as well as monitoring their training plans
- Oversees the implementation of Benny & Co.'s policies and procedures (operations, quality, presentation, customer service, hygiene and sanitation, etc.) by the staff
- Sees to the smooth functioning of production orders
- Maintains harmony within the team
- Encourages and mobilizes the work team
- Follows up on complaints
- Supervises employees
- Assigns maintenance tasks and ensures quality of work
Required qualifications
Experience
1 to 2 years experience of management and restaurant experience
Professional and technical knowledge
- Experience in team management
- Knowledge of cash system an asset
- Kitchen experience within the roast chicken industry is an advantage
